At Warner Bros. Discovery, we believe in creating opportunities where innovation meets creativity. Our Media Platform Operations team is on the lookout for a skilled Data Platform Administrator who is passionate about managing, maintaining, and enhancing Business Intelligence (BI) environments.

In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure BI platforms run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You’ll also be responsible for troubleshooting user issues, supporting data visualization tools, and enabling better decision-making for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade BI platforms and clients.
• Monitor system performance, manage updates, and maintain security standards.
• Provide expert-level support for BI tool users.
• Ensure availability, stability, and compliance of BI systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support global users 24/7.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align BI strategy with business goals.
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Implement data governance practices and manage user permissions.
• Maintain proper documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Analyze system performance reports and suggest improvements.

Key Technical Skills:

Tableau, Looker, Power BI, MicroStrategy, SQL, Relational Databases, Data Integration, ETL, Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), PowerShell scripting (preferred), Windows BAT scripting (preferred).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• At least 2+ years of experience in BI tool administration (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
• Proven experience managing Tableau Server and/or Looker environments.
• Strong SQL knowledge and familiarity with data integration tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
• Cloud platform experience is a plus.
• Tableau/Looker certifications preferred.
• Flexibility to provide 24/7 support as part of the team.
